American Legion Awareness Campaign

Military veterans in and around the Parkersburg and New Martinsville areas are invited for a special service session hosted by the 1st and 4th Districts of the West Virginia American Legion at the Parkersburg American Legion located at 2505 Ohio Avenue in Parkersburg.

National and state teams from The American Legion will be in town to discuss veteran’s benefits and service to the community.

All wartime veterans in these areas are invited to the event to learn more about The American Legion and veteran benefits. Membership and veteran information staff will be available on Monday, August 17th and Tuesday, August 18th from 10 am to 5 pm and on Wednesday, August 19th from 10 am to 3 pm along with members of American Legion Posts in this area to kick off this community and veteran service campaign.

A Veteran Service Officer will also be available for all area veterans with claims or other veteran-related questions on all three days.
